Sunset at the Golden Gate
What matters to us women?
I’m a Northern California Woman, born in San Francisco and raised just over the Golden Gate Bridge in idyllic Marin County. I grew up during the Psychedellic 60’s and 70’s… truly magical decades! I just assumed We the People would continue to grow into our most amazing selves and realize our most ideal lives, because that was the Mission most of us were on… to attain consciousness, honor Mother Earth, and love one another. Thrive and Let Thrive! We strived to sustain Peace on Earth. It all seemed so clear, so obvious that this was the way to live… and so doable! We actually DID live in those altruistic states, so why not sustain them?
I’m a mother of two adult daughters and my youngest was born with Fragile X Syndrome, (developmental delays and autism.) What a long strange trip it’s been to raise two completely different, yet similarly soulful beings! I am so proud of them and so blessed to be their Mom. I’ve strived to pass on the idealistic views that my mother passed on to me during those magical years… because I now know we ARE what we THINK. Our thoughts are the light we emit that shines on everything within us and around us… and they are so vulnerable to influence.
Inwardly, our thoughts are influenced by our subconsious, the place of deep-seeded emotions we’ve inherited from the very cells passed on to us by our parents and ancestors, then shaped during our childhood experiences. Our thoughts are the drivers of how our minds and bodies behave on cellular levels.
Outwardly, our family, friends, and environment, (including the constant barrage of media, images, technology, etc.,) are always pushing, pulling and shaping how we think and feel, like rivers carving out the embankments of our selves.
It’s a lot to process, moment by moment. But it’s in those individual moments when we can choose to be the creators of our own reality. We can stand guard at the gates of our minds, bodies and souls and decide who and what gets in. We can minimize the negative, dis-eased energies from taking root within us by focusing on cultivating positive, loving energy that overwhelms the space we call our own.
Quantum physics proves our thoughts have the ability to manipulate/change matter. The energy we emit in the form of thoughts resonates with similiar energy waves, it’s just basic laws of nature. So, with a simple thought we can heal or harm; love or hate; create or destroy.
What matters to you? What do you think about? How do you think about it?
What thoughts make you feel most joyful?
Gotta go for now! Thanks for visiting!
